/// My journey into development...
Developing for 8 years, it takes a lot of time to learn how to develop in realistic modern quality, and no one can always get their builds first try. A huge part of improvement is to learn about success and failure. Its normal to have a build that doesn't follow what your looking for. Don't force yourself to like it and ignore the obvious things you can change. If it doesnt match what you wanted, its always important to improve on that design. Make newer designs and improve on the things you mightve done wrong or missed on.
Heres some key things that might help you:
- Roblox characters aren't humans. Make sure to keep this in mind when your basing a building in real life into Studio. Use both a rthro rig and a regular humanoid rig of R15 or R6. Find a happy medium between them that fits both characters in that scale. Dont abandon your build because your character is too wide to fit through a door designed for a human. Make the build itself bigger.
- Use the right plugins with the right methods. Archimedes is best used for curving parts, and ensuring you use the right methods to make sure everything aligns with what you want is key. Similar with other plugins like GeomTools and Reflect tools. They aren't supposed to be used as is, they are used for you to still put in effort in the original build reflected. Find ways to modify your builds after you use those plugins!
- Know that you can always improve. Self explanitory. You can always improve, no matter how good you think your current build is.
Once you can visually see improvement over time, you'll truly see how much your learning while you go.
